JOIN BRIDGE

YOUTH SERVICES BRIDGE PROGRAM

KYCC trains high school students (9th-12th grade) to “bridge the gap” between themselves and K-8 youth as tutors and mentors. Our Bridge volunteers develop leadership as well as life skills that provide an invaluable opportunity to serve others.

Many of our Bridge students join the program to meet the requirement and choose to stay well after they have completed it because they love the program!

BRIDGE LEADERSHIP

The Bridge program is designed to be youth-led. Therefore, Bridge volunteers can apply to join the cabinet of officers for each school year starting in June.

Officer positions include president, vice president, Volunteer Manager, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian.

Our youth officers have the responsibility of attending weekly officer meetings to discuss program management, as well as completing one classroom shift and one officer shift.
