We receive a significant number of resumes daily. Though we cannot contact all applicants regarding their applicants, we do contact applicants that closely fit our minimum qualifications for an interview. Our interviews are typically conducted by two people—the Hiring Manager and either a staff in the unit you apply for or an HR Rep. The interviews take place in-person or virtually (through Zoom) depending on the unit and position you apply for.

Due to the nature of our multi-social services agency, most KYCC staff are sent to Livescan fingerprinting and receive a TB test on their first day. Environmental Services Unit positions do not require fingerprints or a TB test but will require their Motor Vehicle Record to be cleared.

While KYCC does offer limited hybrid opportunities, many of our positions have returned to on-site operations and will be identified as such in the job postings.

Many KYCC interns receive course credit, but it can vary depending on your institution, course, and type of internship. Please contact your college advisor to confirm.

Although the majority of KYCC internships are currently unpaid, a handful of internships do offer stipends. Please review the internship description to see terms and availability.
