KYCC Celebrates Korean Heritage Night with the Los Angeles Clippers

On January 13, 2025 KYCC hosted Korean Heritage Night with the Los Angeles Clippers at their new Intuit Dome! KYCC has proudly partnered with the Los Angeles Clippers for Korean Heritage Night for the 6th year in a row, to celebrate Korean heritage and culture with our Los Angeles team. The 7:30 p.m.game against the Miami Heat celebrated the Los Angeles Korean American community by honoring Korean culture and celebrating KYCC as the Nonprofit of the Game. This special event has become a highlight for KYCC and all those who join us.

During the evening, KYCC highlighted some of our committed volunteers on the big screen at halftime and also collaborated with the Hwarang Youth Foundation for an exhilarating halftime show featuring traditional Korean drumming.

Student’s from KYCC’s Youth Services Program also experienced an unforgettable moment joining the Clippers players on the court for the national anthem.

“LA Clippers’ Korean Heritage Night is always a memorable experience for our families and youth. Particularly students from our Youth Services who were excited to step onto the NBA court alongside players for the national anthem and watch the game at the new Intuit Dome,” says Carolyn Kwak, KYCC Development Coordinator. “For many, it was their first time at a basketball game, making the night even more special. We’re grateful to provide these opportunities that bring our community together.”

Korean Heritage Night is more than a celebration of the Korean community— for KYCC, it’s an opportunity to provide our youth and families with a unique and memorable NBA experience. Families and children were thrilled to have the exclusive chance to be on the court, and we are delighted to share this meaningful evening with our clients and friends of KYCC.

Thank you to the Los Angeles Clippers for inviting KYCC to celebrate this special evening!
