Start and grow your business with 1:1
help from our experts

We offer a variety of services for small businesses including street vendors in English, Korean, and Spanish. We can help you obtain mandatory permits, create a business plan, explore financing options, and learn how to market online.

We host workshops and counseling sessions to assist you in creating a comprehensive business plan tailored to your business and goals.

Monthly workshops and entrepreneurial training

We host monthly workshops in Korean, Spanish, and English that cover topics such as AI-driven business plan creation, permit acquisition, digital marketing, and tax preparation. These workshops aim to enhance business skills and provide networking opportunities.

Small Business: Temo el Ranchero

“The support we received from KYCC was a game-changer for our business. Finally being able to operate legally and participate in larger events has brought us tremendous opportunities. We are forever grateful for the guidance on permits, and certifications provided by KYCC. It has truly elevated our catering business to a new level.”

Small Business: Debby’s Skin Care for Me

“…In the early stages of my business I set aside time to attend KYCC’s workshops. The workshop went over so many aspects of owning a business that I was unfamiliar with… There was so much learning and new knowledge that I could apply to my small business. With KYCC’s Business Counselors’ help, I was able to apply to the CA DREAM Fund, and was granted $5,000. This was a huge relief because I was feeling stressed over rising supply costs along with my need to keep prices low to engage more clients. I was able to subsidize my costs and implement a new marketing plan with less burden on my operating expenses. KYCC’s business program gave me the confidence to run my business and it’s always nice to know that there is an expert to turn to when I need advice.”

Deborah Lee, Owner of Debby’s Skin Care for Me
Small Business: Flower Street Vendor

“This service helped me because they have helped us with all the procedures to obtain the permits, processes that I had no idea existed, I had no idea how to have a legal business. With all the support that the small business program and the training have given me, I have realized that there are many ways to progress as a street vendor but I didn’t know they existed. Knowing now that there are programs like this I wonder why I didn’t start before? People like what I do and I am operating legally. That motivates me!”
